In partnership with the Campus Y and the Student Coalition for Action in Literacy Education (SCALE), APPLES invites you to join us for the 20th Anniversary Alumni Reunion on October 16th from 3-5pm in the Center for Dramatic Art in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of our founding and the Anniversary Celebrations of the Campus Y and SCALE.

The event will include two decades of program highlights from student and alumni speakers, a documentary featuring APPLES students, faculty and community partners as well as opportunities to reunite with colleagues, meet current APPLES organizers and hear about current APPLES programming.

Twenty years ago, a small group of students led by Tony Deifell had a seed of an idea - to create meaningful connections between student’s academic learning in the classroom and real-world learning in the community. Out of their efforts, the APPLES Service-Learning Program was born in 1990. Join us on October 16th from 3-5pm in the Center for Dramatic Art to honor and celebrate two decades of student leadership in service-learning.
